A Da Vinci code for the forensics set--if you like bones more than codes, this is the one for you. It has a similar premise--what if Jesus was just a man, one who married and had children--and globe-trots from Canada to Israel. Modern murders abound, but the important body is ancient. Who is the man from the cave? Brennan and Ryan (not Booth, but close enough) try to answer both old and new questions while traveling through the Holy Land. An excellent addition to this series.
Definitely my favorite Dr. Brennen series book. Actually, I'm pretty sure this is the first book of hers that I read. I loved it then because of the archaeology references and the fact that it implies that the bones found could have been Jesus'.
I wasn’t a very big fan of this installment in the series. I didn’t like the topic of the case, so found it difficult to keep my interest. Also, this case had quite a few characters, which once in a while it took me a minute to remember who was who.

It started good out of the gate, but by the end I was a bit indifferent. I like the basis, it just didn’t grab me in the execution of the plot.
