READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS AND REVIEWS. If you don’t want to feel disgusted reading this book, skip it entirely or at least until a little over half the book. The plot (minus the stalking, and everything attached to it) would’ve made an interesting read, but I just cant get past the beginning. I had to skip many pages reading this. The ending of the book was good and I probably will read the second book but definitely am glad I did not purchase this book with my own money. Only read if you are willing to audibly say “what the actual f**k is going on, this is disgusting”

Adeline moves into her recently deceased grandmother's house. During the renovation, she finds the journals of her great grandmother, Gigi, who led quite the interesting double-life. You see, Gigi had a stalker. A stalked she slowly fell in love with. A stalker she was ready to leave her husband for... Until one day she was murdered. Her murder was never solved, and over the years, the case went completely cold.

While Addie tries to figure out her great-grandmother's story, she comes face to face with the realization that history is repeating itself. Addie has her own stalker. A man who watches her at night. Follows her every move. A man who can come in and out of her house without being detected, leaving behind nothing but a single rose. But how long is watching enough? How long until he makes his move?

The haunting story of Adeline is so incredibly intriguing! It's hot, suspenseful, spicy, and leaves you questioning the line between good and bad.

Now I will say, Gigi's murderer is pretty obvious in my opinion. There's also lot of plot holes, like what kind of author is Addie? Any backstory on her friendship with Daya? Z's back story? We don't really find out much beyond the obsession, sexual tension, and Z's daytime "job".

The book is still incredibly engaging, and I can't wait to read on!

(I liked it so much, I'm not even going to knock a star down for the whole stalking between the lifetimes, destined star-crossed lovers comments....)

This book was really something else. When I first started reading and our characters (mainly Zade) we’re still entirely shrouded in mystery, I honestly couldn’t read very much at a time. Sure, it probably didn’t help that I continuously tried reading this book sitting alone at night in a dimly lit room but it was still quite scary for a while. This did also happen to help make this a phenomenal read for spooky season and I plan to continue on with the next book. I really enjoyed how there was more than one plot line of mystery with everything with Zade and everything with Gigi’s murder and then the ending on a cliffhanger. Overall I really enjoyed this book.

This book is also ridiculously hot (but please please PLEASE check TWs before you even start the book- it’s quite intense). I love the altering how rough yet also how gentle their intimacy and sex was, although some scenes were plain rape and did get a little hairy to read. The mirror maze scene and the initial sunroom scenes though had to be my favorites they were just ahhhhh,

Definitely Haunted

I’ll be the first to say I do not want a Zade in my life. Stalk someone else please and thank you. HOWEVER, he and Addie are sadistically made for each other. Who knew a man could be TOO honest, vices for the world to see with no regrets. I knew it was gonna be a cliffhanger 70% in so I’m really excited to see what comes next. Do they adopt Sarah? Will Addie put her self defense lessons to good use? Is the traitor Jay saw Ruby? And where did Addie’s assistant go???
