Ooooh-wee! I just finished this book and it it is off “The Chain” If you want an edge of your seat page turner, this is the book for you! How far will family go to save their own!? You’ll see if you read this. Plus this gives great pause on how much we share online, you literally never know who is watching you! Good read!

While reading this book my heart was racing! Once It took me a couple of chapters to get into but once I did I couldn’t put it down! The ending wasn’t what I expected.

I listened to the audiobook of this and it was very well narrated. I enjoyed that quite a bit.
I would put this closer to a 3 than a 5 but I couldn't pick which I wanted to rate it, so 4 it is!
I really liked the idea for this novel, I think it has a lot of potential in ideas. I liked the way the chain works and how it is almost completely unbreakable. I am sure everyone who reads this book will have come up with their on theory on how they would go about breaking the chain...so here is mine.
I would buy a bunch of burn phones as instructed and agree to everything like usual, then I'd drive out to a secluded location that I've never been before, then change into some new clothes that I know arent tapped, go inside the new location that I know isn't tapped and call someone of high power, whether that be the cops or whoever I could convince that what was happening was actually happening. Then, I would destroy that phone and hopefully have convinced someone that it wasn't a joke or prank and get them to advise me on what to do next. Hopefully having my entire family in custody until it was all sorted out. But yeah that's my working theory lol!
Either way, my only issue with the story is when they went to the location of the twins. It got really cheesy with the gun fight and I wasn't very interested in that section of chapters. But it got good again, and I fell back into it. Do recommend though! It might make you change your mind on having kids though!

The first half was great! The second half wasn't as good in my opinion and had too many references to mathematics and philosophy.

One of the wildest and most thrilling books I’ve read. I’m glad it ended how it did & that’s all I’ll say.
