If you've been following me listening to Anne, you will know that I didn't love some of the readers in this full casted audiobook. A few of the readers/actors have been changed for the better. However, I don't think that all of these readers were in the same location while doing the read through. The volume of some of them are too loud or too soft. But it's still very enjoyable.
I love that we can be 3 books into the series and Anne can still have adventures. This book has Anne, Gilbert, Prissy and Charlie Sloan in college still. But now the girls no longer live in a boarding house.

From the beginning of the first book in this series, Anne of Green Gables, I knew I was destined to enjoy this series thoroughly. But reading this book managed to make me love the series more than I ever thought possible.
Probably more of a 3.5, but I rounded up. it was a good and sweet book, just not as wonderful as the first 2. I loved it, tbough!

Aunque no se parece mucho a los dos anteriores, este tercer libro me ha encantado, porque se mantiene la magia de los primeros con un filtro más maduro.
Me ha parecido muy duro leer sobre lamuerte de Ruby . La escena en la que Ruby describe cómo es para ella saber que va a morir me parece brillante, cómo encuentra consuelo en Ana, la necesidad de ser escuchada y compartir su miedo... Me da la sensación de que L. M. Montgomery pasó por algo parecido en su propia vida, por el realismo de la escena. Realmente me ha conmovido y es uno de los momentos más tristes y reales que he leído nunca.
Y aunque el romance no es mi género favorito, tengo que decir que el de este libro ha sido encantador. Obviamente ya sabía queAna acabaría aceptando la proposición de Gilbert , pero al leerlo me ha parecido una escena super natural y preciosa.
