I grew up watching the film by Miyazaki and absolutely loved Kiki going into. The book and the movie are obviously vastly different from each other but overall it was an enjoyable. For a middle grade big it was obviously fast passed and I enjoyed all the short form story’s that encompassed the book. In my opinion it was a lovely read and I have developed a deeper love for the story.

Much better than the film. I still like the film but Miyazaki went for action instead of just leaving it as a lovely and simple story.
I defiantly want to read the sequels, however gonna learn some Japanese first.
