This was really enjoyable, not my normal genre but I really liked it. The characters were so lovable and the plot was pretty good. I also loved the authors writing and will likely continue reading books by her.

This was a very sad and spicy book with a bit of mystery and murder sprinkled in. The murder mystery plot took turns that I never expected and were so unique. There was actually less spice than I expected, but what was there was wonderful. Some of the relationship aspects seemed unrealistic to me, but overall I enjoyed the book and loved the three main characters.

A good intro to dark romance as it had a bit of a mystery and there were only a few romance scenes. Unique setting and mystery and character development with the mental illnesses. The only thing I wished was that we got more insight to Wynn's story than just one group therapy discussion.

But it was good read! Your heart will break, fill, hurt, fill, break again, then fill up again patched up.

Whoever coined the phrase “sticks and stones” is an asshole, don’t you think? Words indeed hurt more than stones. Thanks for trying to gaslight me out of it though. It didn’t work.

The fabric of our souls is thin—we’ve been wandering this world just to unite in this small corner of the universe. Our connection is frightening and enchanting all at once.

The Fabric of our Souls is thin and worn. We must be gentle and love tirelessly.

This book was ok. Like I wanted to get to the end to find out what was going on and it had a major tearjerker affect but it wasn’t something I would reread.

Maybe it's because I am in the mental health field, but this shit was so inaccurate? I understand that the psychiatric rehab center is supposed to be "unorthodox" but females/males sharing rooms and showers, encouraging the patients to have sex with each other or go into town to go to the bar or tattoo parlor? Where there is constant self-harm and suicide attempts? The FMC's brother also just calls her doctor and asks her to be put on sleeping medication and the doctor just does it the very same day. No assessment just vibes <3

At this point, it was like an adult summer camp with the occasional group therapy session where rich people just said that they hate the mundanities of life. Yes, going to work and grocery shopping sucks, but that is not typically the reason for extreme suicidality. Don't forget when the MMC came to the hospital and pretended to be a nurse to meet the FMC, after hearing the nurses and doctors talking about her at the psych rehab center where he is a patient? He just left for the day to pretend to be a nurse and came back just in time to be assigned as her roommate. We could've had an effective "unorthodox psych rehab" think Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty. The twist was fine, but if the unrealistic p
