This book was absolutely phenomenal! I couldn’t put it down. This
Book made me cry and they were tears of sadness not joy. The characters were amazing and well developed and the world was really well developed. This is by far my favorite book in the series. A great but sad ending to the book. I’m still so sad and shocked that my two favorite characters died. I know they are fictional but I can relate to them and how they act it was sad to see them go. (Bogdan and Nicolae are still my favorite characters even if they didn’t make it to the end.)

Después de haber leído esta increíble historia por los últimos dos años siento melancolía y extrañeza al pensar que no volveré a leer una nueva aventura. Me destrozó en muchos sentidos pero curó otros tantos. Tengo la fortuna de haberlos encontrado cuando lo necesitaba y la certeza de regresar a ustedes en cualquier momento.

This would have ranked higher, but like the last book I was bored for the first half. I did really like how this ended though.

Really loved this series and the ending was just the way it should have been! Only serious complaint is about Lada getting pregnant with Mehmed’s baby and not Bogdan’s. Clearly that plot benefitted Radu more than anyone else (he gets all the best parts of the people he loves) and that seemed to cheapen things a bit... Otherwise I loved it!!
Solid ending to the trilogy. Lada is a character I’ll remember for a long time.
