This book is exceptionally well written. Klune was able to take the complexities of human emotion and relationships and write them simply but so powerfully. This book is deeply emotional and explores the relationship of bonds between people. This book was not the sexy adventure books of wolves I thought instead it tore at my heart and made it bleed it in the sweetest way.

This was a reread, I have no idea when I read it the first time, but the result is the same. I have always liked werewolf stories, and I probably always will. I think this series was the first one about shifters who are queer that I read, so it has a special place in my heart.
