The beginning of the book, I do have to admit, was a little slow for me. I found James (Watson)'s crush on Charlotte (Holmes) was a little too longing/ infatuated with her (or John Green type). The middle brought more mystery and developed their relationship. The end had me on the edge of my seat and wanting more. Charlottes character development is great, and their relationship is so cute.
Can't wait to read the next book.

I enjoyed this book a lot. A friend of mine recommended me the book. If I were to rate it like a movie i would definitely say it would have been rated R for obvious reasons. I characters were great. I enjoyed Watson being the narrator because it told his side of the story. It would have been a confusing read if Holmes would have been narrating. It was very satisfying in the end to see it all come together. I had a hunch that it was Tom, Wastons roommate, or the nurse. Good to see I was right for once.
