I'm sorry Keanu. It hurts me to give your work such a low rating!

The story is definitely there. It's extremely well fleshed out. The jumping around all slowly starts to come together.

The problem is....the way it's written is so incredibly dense and boring I felt like I was in high school again being forced to read something made for scholars.

I know I'm an amateur book reader but this was just too hard to follow and understand at times.

If it gets a big screen adaption though I'm all for it.

This book is far from average and firmly fits the New Weird genre. If you enjoy niche stories reminiscent of those found in Weird Tales magazine, this will be right up your alley. Its disjointed style feels like a video game in book form and the journey is definitely worth the read.
