The Stand In Boyfriend was a really cute story. Jessy had hesitations but Noah shut them all down. He refused to let her fight their chemistry. He was far from the bad guy he thought he was. A true sweetheart of a guy who could bring the swoon when he needed to.

Yay! DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA!
Noah and Jessy surprised me for sure!
I really enjoyed their story, even if I did feel bad for Jessy in parts.
This book had me hooked at page one and before I knew it, I was finished!
A very cute, sweet- but short - read.

This was a well written fake, enemies to lovers relationship and to top off the drama, it's all based in high school. I enjoyed the situation that was created between the hero and heroine to create this fun and easy storyline. It was a sweet and angsty read all rolled into one, I managed to read it so quickly and just fell in love with the characters.

There was obviously drama-filled moments within the book, especially as both characters didn't like each other before the hero started the gossip mill round two of their fake relationship. I was funny to see the characters bump heads and then swoon when their relationship started to change into something else and real. They both showed so much progress throughout the book and made me fall in love with them both together and individually.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Oh I was so excited to see what this story would hold for us because Noah had some things he needed to redeem himself from and getting to see his softer side was just perfection. Noah is out to redeem himself because he knows what happened between him and Evie was a huge mistake and something that should never have happened. Jessica aka Jessy has been utterly humiliated by her ex who decided to publicly cheat on her and now with a new school year she has to face all the nosey gossips while they talk behind her back like she did something wrong. While seeing this Noah has a soft spot and wants to help her out by the fake boyfriend thing, hoping for his redemption but not expecting the fall. These two are completely opposite and give each other such a hard time can they convince everyone they are a real couple or are they just too different? And, when tensions rise will they be able to keep everything strictly platonic or will real feelings arise? I loved their story so much and ended up loving Noah more than I thought possible. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Jake.

This was a great feel good read that takes a fake relationship that turns into something real.

Jessica is humiliated when her boyfriend cheats on her. Noah comes to the rescue and steps up to pretend to date her. Noah recently got his heart broke so it seems like a win win situation until somebody catches real feelings. What happens next you will have to read to find out.

While we may be able to guess that the end is happily ever after it is all the words in the middle that lets the reader know just how good of a story teller the author is. Doe does a great job giving us some angst in the middle of the book as the couple heads to their HEA. One of the things I like about her as an author is her ability to evoke real feelings that has me reliving my high school years.

Another fantastic story of amazing characters in Greyford High! The Stand-In Boyfriends was sweet as sweet can be. Not only is this a redemption story for Noah but it also is a better look at who Jessy really is. This book shows you that it shouldn’t matter what others think and that gossip is just that, gossip. This book also shows that everyone needs a little help from someone else every once in a while. I definitely love this book with these characters, it was a special one!

I highly recommend this boom to everyone along with this series! A series everyone can enjoy!

Another fun novella in the Greyford High series. This one features Noah and Jessy- characters prior in the series. We last saw Noah in the prior book, and I was a bit nervous since he wasn’t super likable there- and I wasn’t sure Anna could redeem him in this novella, but I came around. He seemed genuinely remorseful and a decent guy.

This one is a fake dating trope- as Jessy finds herself in the middle of uncomfortable gossip thanks to an ex. Noah ends up being so sweet and finds a redemptive moment in the way he can step in and help Jessy- not only winning Jessy over but us, too. The end up deciding to continue the dating ruse, and what was fake turns into a real connection. I liked Jessy, even though I wanted her to stand up for herself in the way she stands up for others. I had a hard time seeing her strength in other places and her passiveness there- but then I also remember just how much what others think about you matters when you are a teen. And, I definitely understood her distrust of NOah- we didn’t trust him either after the last story.

Like all the books in this series, the story is sweet and charming and gives you all the high school nostalgic feelings. Its a quick read, but there’s enough meat here to engage you.
