Larsen is a psychiatrist with an awful family past that has left her a hard shell and guarded. Dane is the new security guard at the hospital she works at and has been a playboy, but also has a rough familial past. These two have more in common than meets the eye.
Oh my goodness these two! They are perfection together and individually. They perfectly compliment each other in every what. And boy does Dane cause massive blushing throughout the book!
I didn’t want to put the books down for a second. My heart and brain were squealing in excitement so much. This was my first book from Harloe Rae and I will for sure be seeking out more! She captivated me from the first page and there was no looking back.

This is the second book in the Bayside heroes series. In Screwed Up we follow security guard Dane and Doctor Larsen Belle. What started as a friendly, no-strings attached arrangement turns into so much more! This was a super cute and funny romance with some good steam! The chemistry between Doctor Belle and Dane was undeniable and off the charts! Both characters had a past that they weren’t ready to face until they had each other to face it with!
I just love this friends with benefits trope.I love when characters start catching feelings for each other!

I really liked this book. I was absolutely hooked from page one.
Larsen and Dane had such different world views and personalities but by the end of the book I knew they belonged together. As opposed to many other books I’ve read this year, the couple had it a bit on the easier side drama wise, but that’s what made this so refreshing for me. A great little winter time read for a cozy night on the couch.
Highly recommend!

I was excited to get my hands on Harloe Rae’s contribution to this world that this group of authors created and I loved every moment! Dane and Larsen were perfect together as they fought their feelings, the fact that they work together and so much more. Rae always gives great banter within her stories and Screwed Up gives us that and more. The sizzle packs a punch. The way this blends into the series was epic and so much more. I adored this book and I am looking forward to seeing what the other two authors have cooked up for us!

Larsen and Dane definitely stole my heart. Those two were so so cute. I loved how passionate Larsen was about her job and how much she cares about her patients. She’s such a great person and I love that she finally stood up for herself and told her mom what she was thinking. On second thoughts Dane is a dream guy. Maybe not really at first, since all they were doing was hooking up for fun but then he got to his senses and I loved to see him make dates ideas with Lars. Just so sweet.

Screwed Up by Harloe Rae is the second book in the Bayside Heroes Series. I have read other books from Harloe Rae and like the others this one did not disappoint. This book is Larsen and Dane's story. I absolutely loved Larsen, Dane and the chemistry that they had! They both come from different backgrounds, yet understand each other. The outings were some of my favorite. I would definitely recommend this book I could not put it down.
