You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows = a second chance romance, a great couple with chemistry to spare, witty dialogue, steamy goodness, and duet narration done by Joe Arden and Callie Dalton. Second-chance romance is one of my favorites, and after meeting this couple in the prequel, I really wanted them to get that second chance. Shayna has plenty of reason to still be mad at Lee, even after 8 years have passed, but he's certainly determined to at least gain her forgiveness. They do have their work cut out for them to get that second chance, but the journey makes it even sweeter. Of course, the narration is terrific. If you haven't had the pleasure of listening to Joe Arden, you don't know what you're missing. These first two Kingsmen Football books were my introduction to Callie Dalton, and I'm impressed with her work as well. And duet narration! Talk about total immersion in the story! So, another great listen written by Piper Rayne, and after the way this one ended, I'm looking forward to the next.

A fun and spicy second-chance sports romance with spine tingling spice. The narration brought these characters to life. Lee Burrows is a dreamy cinnamon roll MMC. And Shayna is a driven, career-minded FMC who you can't help but relate to. A great dual narration was perfection!

Lots and lots of spice!

Super Solid Football/Workplace romance excited to see where the series goes and I'm hoping for a Miles and Bryce book somewhere down the line(fingers crossed).

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. I haven't read a lot of football romances, but this one was fun!

This book follows Lee and Shayna. Lee is a professional football player for the Kingsmen, and Shayna was just hired by the Kingsmen to be a sports therapist. This is a second chance, forbidden/workplace romance. In college, Lee broke Shayna's heart. Now, many years later and Lee still deeply regrets this situation, but will Shayna give him the opportunity to apologize?

I really enjoyed Lee and Shayna! The connection they had and the tension WAS THERE!! The chemistry was amazing and I loved seeing them together. This book being dual perspective really helped the story! I loved seeing how both characters were feeling and what they were thinking throughout the book. I loved the sports team, as always! The banter between Lee and the other players was so entertaining and I really can't wait to read the stories from the rest of them!

I do wish that we got more about the past between Lee and Shayna. This was made to be such a big situation since Lee broke Shayna's heart, but I felt like it was never really talked about. They continuously talked about the bet, but never truly dove into it. I think getting more from that situation would've helped me to understand both characters a bit more, but unfortunately, it wasn't talked about much.

Regardless, I still enjoyed the story and did see the conflict coming. I thought the ending was a bit abrupt and would've wanted a bit more before the epilogue. Still, I enjoyed it and can't wait to read more in the series.
