I really enjoyed this book! I loved that they had their second chance and were able to both follow their dreams.

I enjoyed this second chance romance but Lee was quite naive about how things would go when the truth came out! I liked Shanya, she was a strong confident woman and while, she didn't have the best role model parents, she knew what she wanted and how to be treated. I loved the twist at the end and am looking forward to reading abut Brady!

There is no doubt that Lee Burrows, the San Francisco Kingsmen's star quarterback, is swoony. He could have anyone, yet he can't stop thinking about Shayna Kudrow, whom he broke up with 8 years ago while in college.

Well, fate is funny because, on his first day after the off-season, he meets the team's newest pathetic trainer, who happens to be no other than Shayna. She is there to work and has no intention of forgiving Lee. But an injury will force them to work one-to-one. He is ready to grovel and tear down her walls.

But giving in means going against the Kingsmen's fraternization policy. So... this is a workplace, forbidden romance. These two have chemistry, and they are explosive. Will they be able to get what they desire, or will they get into trouble? Shayna is the best. She is fierce and stubborn, but she is also adventurous.

You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows is a great introduction to what promises to be a thrilling and addictive series. And the clues dropped at the end make it even more enticing!

This was exactly what I wanted so no complaints from me

Shana and Lee are too cute!
Great read, really listen, I guess.
I listened to the audiobook and OF COURSE Joe Arden nailed it and Callie Dalton was amazing too.
There was barely any spice

This sports romance was super fun and entertaining! There was so much banter and sweet moments with an AMAZING group of characters (a PERFECT series starter!)

This an enemies-to-lovers, second chance romance between hot shot quarterback Lee Burrows and his team's athletic trainer, Shayna. Their chemistry is out of this world and I loved their secret sneaked in moments they shared. There is so much push and pull between these two, I felt the tension through the narrators (who were AMAZING btw).

In Piper Rayne fashion, you will find heart, heat, and happily ever afters in this one! I cannot wait to continue this series!!

I really enjoyed this second chance story!

Shayna was Lee’s biggest regret after he made a mistake in college and destroyed their relationship. He thought about her a lot over the last 8 years and always wished he could fix what had happened. When Shayna takes a job with the Kingsmen, Lee’s football team, they are forced back into each others orbit. They both are struggling with letting the past go, Lee with his feelings for her and regret for his actions, and Shayna with her anger for what he did and the fact that she still feels something for him. I loved Lee’s determination at trying to make things right and move forward with her, and I totally understood Shayna’s hesitance about the whole situation. The hurt from the past still looms over them, but Lee’s dedication to make it up to Shayna really proved he wanted to be the man she deserved! I loved the side characters in this book too, and I’m so looking forward to the rest of the series! I listened to this book, and the duet narration by Joe Arden and Callie Dalton was awesome!

I really enjoyed my first Piper Rayne book. I am trying to read as many ApollyCon attending authors as I can before going next spring. This was a fun, fast read. Lee and Shayna have fantastic chemistry, and I adored both POVs. Can't wait to read more from this duo.
