It was cool, maybe a little obvious in some places. I still learnt from it and plan to revisit it in the future.

It was okay, it's a light read that I didn't hate but one that I'm unlikely to recommend. This book focuses more on the surface ideals of self-care that's become popularized and I felt my eyes rolling a few times while reading it. It has a whole chapter dedicated to soap & body cream recipes so if you're into making your own soaps this might interest you. I'm not into making my own soaps so I found myself skimming that section. There's also a lot of generalized advice that's common in other wellness books that the author talks about incorporating into one's spiritual practise though it doesn't really go into much depth.

A nice introduction to understanding self-care and mindfulness as a spiritual practice. While (considering the title and target group) there are of course many spells, rituals and recipes included, even those less interested in magik should give this book a try, as it gives new meaning to many of our self-care practices.

Very repetitive

Great little self care book. This book is full of some wonderful, beautiful, magical advice. It's a great little tome to have on your shelf when you are unsure how to magically move forward. I look forward to reading the rest of the author's work.

Great book for beginner witches

I liked this, but not for myself. I could see this book being really helpful for Wicca-minded people (and even non-Wiccans) who are also seeing a therapist to work in tandem. Overall, this book was wasted on me though I did appreciate the recipes and the projects in this book. I'll be giving this to someone as a gift.

Nothing groundbreaking I think but a very good approachable book for self care. There are a lot of helpful and simple self care recipes and practices. Definitely going to make the sleep balm and do the daily gratitude journaling.
