Lots of sane information, advice, and recipes. Really liked the red text - different and caused me to truly focus on the words.
I enjoyed this book I understand the one stars but I also understand the five star ratings too. Its beginner friendly and I say that to the extreme. If you're just starting its a good book to pick up, it relies on the basics.. It has some glaringly obvious tips that some will find annoying; I found them nice. With the way we are programmed and conditioned sometimes we become so caught up in our habits that we need someone to point out the obvious for us. It helps us stop being passive and have the advice at the forefront of our minds. This is a self care book after all and if I had my shit together I would not be reading it; so yes I do need some reminders of things that other properly functioning human beings take for granted.

Very simple instructions with explanations that were sufficient for things I'm not familiar with and weren't oversimplified for the things I was familiar with. Nice to have the refresh and some new ideas for keeping the energy space calm!

It is a good read, I intend to come back to it again, as I kept going back and forth in my first read too. Not too ritual centred throughout but they do tend to increase as the book goes along. I'm not into practicing these rituals so I mostly skipped after a cursory glance. The self care parts related to affirmations, meditation, journalling were quite good. Esp for someone who doesn't enjoy self-help books. The book ended very abruptly too, out of nowhere.

I read this right after the Green Witch book so some of it was repetitive. I really like some of the recipes in it. I feel this is a good self help book for anyone who is a little interested in some self care not just those who are interested in witchy self care.
