Great ideas, inspiration & practical tips from 2 former Google employees on how to do what matters to you: just what I needed this January!

Read my full review and listen to a sample of audio, narrated by the authors, describing the book's purpose:

A fantastic book to make time. Although there are many books on time management and productivity, this one stands out because of its insanely practical ideas and easy to read language. Whether are reading your first book on time management or have read other books on the topic, you will find it useful. There are so many tactics and ideas discussed in the book that you will definitely can apply at least some of the tactics. The honesty with which authors have written the book makes it a special book.

An actually-good book about focusing and getting things done. It's good because it's really simple and doesn't rely on having a bunch of executive functioning skills to enact the plan.

I always love reading non-fiction, self-help books but I don't want an idea that is only good in theory or for certain groups. Make Time is a great book for people who are constantly overwhelmed on too many priorities they have. I also liked the way the authors approached the book—it has a modern style in it.

In three sentences the main idea of the book are:
1. Pick a highlight for everyday, that’s either important, meaningful, or brings you joy.
2. Pick a highlight for every one of your days, that’s either important, meaningful, or brings you joy.
3. Do some of the things that would make you stay healthy and full of energy.

4.5 rounded up to 5- A quick and easy read that focuses more on how to live a life that has meaning instead of the classic time management “imagine if you died tomorrow” cliche that I find in most books like this.

This book acts as an aggregator of useful information of the productivity authors that came before.

If you're new to the productivity & self-improvement space, this is a very helpful book. If you have read across the big names of the genre, there's no new ground broken here.
