WHERE IS THE SEROTONIN, YOU B*TCH???

War - main character of this story. Not Stenwald, not Chi, or others. It is the War we follow step by step. Tactics, battles. Every EXCRUCIATING detail.
One thousand POVs are there only to show it from every angle.

For me that's enough to drop the series. It is just not my cup of tea. I know people, history fans, that would enjoy and follow this kind of narrative. Good for them. I am bored to death.

It's a shame because I like some characters, but it is just not worth it. To suffer through 20+ hours of cosmic boredom just for a few chapters from their POV. And not even very satisfying ones. Filled mostly with thoughts and dialogs used for exposition and world building.

To give an example, Achaeos had maybe 3 scenes, all about his dreams and visions. He could even not be there, and nothing would change in the plot.

I am gladly leaving this world. Wasps can win for all I care.
