I've never read anything that felt like my own internal monologue before, albeit the more genius version of it. This will leave you feeling jaggedly cut open, filled with butterflies, and sewn back up with gilded thread.
The utilization of words like never before. This passage best describes how the book felt like:
“Thursday is a day transparent as an insect’s wing in the light. Monday is a compact day. Ultimately far beyond thought, I live from these ideas, if ideas is what they are. They are sensations that transform into ideas because I must use words. Even just using them mentally. The primary thought thinks with words. The ‘freedom’ frees itself from the slavery of word.”
Fleeting threads and threads of words. The author ceaselessly trying to grasp “the instant”, I was ceaselessly trying to grasp her non-thoughts. It was all beyond sense.
Loved it when she talked about flowers and mirrors.

prometi reler tudo de clarice esse ano e não poderia começar por outro livro. tanto sobre escrever e ser uma pessoa de palavras é trazido por clarice da forma mais crua, que lembro de ler esse aqui adolescente ainda e pensar se ainda adiantava escrever, quando ela havia feito isso tão bem, mas como não escrever?
"Escrevo-te como exercício de esboços antes de pintar. Vejo palavras. O que falo é puro presente e este livro é uma linha reta no espaço. É sempre atual, e o fotômetro de uma máquina fotográfica se abre e imediatamente se fecha, mas guardando em si o flash. Mesmo que eu diga "vivi" ou "viverei" é presente porque eu os digo já."
