Very compelling, and much sadder than I anticipated. Reminded me of Chuck Palahniuk’s books: kind of funny, kind of gross, kind of disturbing. Multi-dimensional characters that were easy to dislike but impossible to loathe. I look forward to rereading this and plan on gifting it to a few people.
dark slow-paced

Parts of the story were interesting, but it was mostly just dark and disturbing.

This, this is what quarantine has reduced me to reading. I wouldn't have finished if another book was avaiable.

Do not understand the hype. The characters were not interesting, the story droned on. The ending was kind of interesting but none of the reveals were particularly surprising or enjoyable.
