I’m not a fan of short stories, but I went for this on audio because it was done by two of my favorite narrators. I didn’t like all the stories, but some were really good.

A completely charming novella! And the narration by Edoardo Ballerini was perfect.

Don't sleep on this. Among the best short stories I've ever experienced.

This is a quirky, captivating, completely charming story. The pacing is excellent. The words flow beautifully. Nuggets of life wisdom dominate but aren't overstated. The writing is superb and accessible. The characters are loveable and complex in spite of the abbreviated form. The narrative is unpredictable. What more could you want?

The title story is superlative.
'Town & Country' is funny (even if it loses a bit of it's punch by straight out explaining the metaphor near the end of the story)

i'm so stupid that i didn't understand that this was a set of short stories, so imagine my surprise and confusion reading the second short story of the book, trying to connect it to the first. there were some really good short stories, but also some really bland ones. however, the good ones definitely overpowered the boring. i think my favorite story is mr. voice, since the book started off with a bang, and it became a story i was looking forward towards reading. as for the rest of the stories, i'm fine with their endings. don't need to hear more.
