Holy moly! In the beginning I was so just hating Julian so so so much. I automatically loved Brielle. Things started to shift slowly between them and it just got better and better as it went on. The spice level is pretty intense. I love that her books always have some comedic relief in them and this one I cracked up so many times. So so good!
So so
Bree flees to London to escape lost love and experience what life could by while she nanny's for a sweet widowed woman.....only it turns out the sweet widowed woman is really a grumpy older man who is sexy as can be. With proximity and attraction hot enough to burn...anything can happen.
I really wanted to like this book. It wasn't terrible....but it was just....boring. The writing style was a bit rough for me because it didn't flow well consistently. A lot of statements or descriptions contradicted themselves which really pulled me out of the story. This book was quite long and I think it could have been trimmed down a bit. Now I really liked how much of a firecracker Bree was. She stuck to her guns and was a beautiful advocate for the kids in this book which was amazing. I thought she was the most well developed character in the book and we got to see her evolve a bit and grow. Now...Masters on the otherhand. He kind of drove me nuts. I understood that he had trauma but honestly he was a bad father and the book went back and forth saying he was bad and then in the next breath saying he was good. He wasn't intentionally bad, and he was a good person....but the lack of action and some of his reactions really said it all. I wanted to see more growth rather than just having it all at the end basically. This couple had some sweet and awesome moments, but they were few and far between unfortunately.

This was well written and Bree and the kids were really good characters. The smut just didn't do it for me and I didn't like the way the relationship progressed.
emotional
lighthearted
medium-paced
This book was surprisingly LOL funny!! We loved it!
This cover makes me feel like I shouldn't have liked this book but I did.
I've come to realize I love the nanny trope. There's just something about a stranger taking care of the grumpy guy's kids and making the entire family fall for her that speaks to me. I really enjoyed this EVEN if I think there are many miscommunication issues in this story. I feel like that's a common occurrence in fast-paced relationships but it still bothered me. Would've loved for the couple to have a little more time together before getting married!

2.5 stars. The start I really enjoyed reading but around the 70% mark it got a little boring and I started to skim. I found Bree and Julian to be a little annoying and OTT. I didn’t like the climax and how quickly everything was resolved. It felt choppy and rushed to me and the sudden change of heart of 2 chapters for something so big felt shallow.
I enjoyed the children and Bree’s relationship and there were some nice scenes with the family but overall this one missed the mark for me personally.

Loved it
Love anything by TL. Another great novel to add to the collection. Always so much Romance and hot sex. And the story lines are always different from any other romance books I’ve read.
