I really enjoyed this book. I’m thinking I’ll change the rating to a 4.5. I’ve laughed, smiled, and felt all of the emotions reading this. I read this book in 1 day!

I want to love these books more....I really do!

I've read quite a few TL Swan books - some definitely are more enjoyable than others. This one fell short for me -- difficult characters and a slow pace were my struggle here. I do feel they redeemed themselves by the end but I personally was just not a fan. I thought the book could have been decently shorter -- and then the end conflict resolution felt really rushed.

TL Swan does a fabulous job with the spice -- all marks for that. But I personally need more of a story to carry it :)

Omg I didn’t think a man could be up there with Tristan but oh my Julian is an amazing man!

Repetitive smut that adds no benefit to the story flow.
Otherwise, routine

This book is perfection. I have never rated a romance five stars before until I read this book. What can I say? I adore the whole [widowed] billionaire-nanny trope so I loved this book. I've read all three books in the Mister series and Mr. Masters is definitely my favorite. Great plot, super steamy - highly recommend!

Lots of heat. Mr Masters does not disappoint. Some good laughs too. Brielle is a lot of fun. And even some tender moments. I love dynamic between Bree and the kids in this. I could have done with one less conflict towards the end but otherwise enjoyed it and flew threw it.

I am a little conflicted on my rating for this. Was it bad? No. Did I love it? Also no.

I actually thought this would be a DNF at the beginning. The way the interactions with the characters began was just ridiculous. Brielle snooping through Julian's things would have been a legitimate reason to fire her, especially when she dropped the ball every way she possibly could her first day as the nanny. Then to find out later that he was instantly attracted to her and after getting to know his personality, it makes absolutely no sense that he would have done something SO out of character and kept her as a nanny, even after being told she would lose her work visa. After her night out with her friend...definitely. So their "relationship" started out so unconventional and out of character for both that it just didn't make sense as it happened or as I got to know the characters better.

At first, I didn't like Brielle, but I think that was by design. I thought of her very much the same as I suppose Julian and Willow did. However, she grew on me once I got to know her better and I loved her by the end.

Julian. I love grumpy characters. I just didn't like Julian. Usually when a character has his personality, there is a reason for it. He just didn't seem to have one. He was stubborn to the point of sabotage both for himself and his family. When he refused to stand up for Willow he just never redeemed himself in my eyes.

This book was WAY longer than it needed to be but it wasn't boring. It definitely made me appreciate Brielle and how her relationship with the kids grew. How much those kids needed someone like Brielle to fight for them because their father would not have done it. The character growth in this book for Brielle is excellent, the book is titled Mr. Masters though and I probably would have liked it better without him.

T.L. Swan is a new author to me, one of the bloggers I follow recently reviewed this book and it sparked my interest.

I’m so happy I read it. This was not what I was expecting, even after the first few pages- I had some preconceived notions and this knocked each one down. Which is refreshing.

While there were some grammatical errors, the story in of itself was a nice change of pace. I loved the things covered (sexuality, bullying, grief, acceptance). And yet it was all covered without making light of the issues or making them too heavy. Just a perfect balance.

I thought the age difference would bother me, but Brielle seemed to have more emotional intelligence than Julian. Initially she underestimated her own self, but quickly found those instincts that made her connect with the children. I love that she wasn’t a pushover, she stood up for herself and wasn’t some ditzy 20 something. Just a solid read!
