A Heroine that isn’t annoying? ✔️
a broody hero who is an asshole, but has a sweet side? ✔️
Adorable children with actual problems? ✔️
This book has everything. I don’t know why it took me so long to read a book by T L Swan. Maybe it’s the size of the books that intimidated me.
I’m used to reading books that are 250-300 pages, and this is quite a bit bigger, but let me just say that I didn’t want this story to end. I wasn’t getting excited that I only had 25% of the book left. The writing was intriguing, and this heroine is someone I want to be my best friend.
I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This book was a delightful whirlwind of angst, sexual tension, heartache, and a battle for control. I’m glad everyone won in the end.

This was a reread. I read this for the first time a LONG time ago. I used to really be into the whole age gap, forbidden romance but honestly most of them don’t do it for me anymore.
This one is always a good one to go back and reread mainly because I like the fmc’s relationship with his children. I cringe more and more with each reread at the mmc’s behavior. It still bothers me to this day that he was shocked that his nanny was an engineer back home like it just felt a little sexist

Brielle is in England for a year for work and an adventure. She thinks she is going to nanny for a woman but when Mr.Julian Masters is there to pick her up from the airport and informs her that she will be his live in nanny she quickly starts to think this is a huge mistake.
Her first day is quickly turning into a disaster and Bree starts to second guess this whole thing, but the longer she stays her connection to the kids and Julian grows, her problem soon becomes what is she to do when she falls in love with Mr.Masters and they don’t want the same things.
Loved this book. The age gap, employee and boss, grumpy sunshine tropes all work for me every time. I love how strong Bree is and how fiercely she protects the kids even against Julian. Julian is the ultimate grumpy sunshine,
When he finally comes to terms with how he feels, he loves Bree more than anyone could.
