I don’t love this book as much as the Mile High series (2nd and 4th book are two of my favorite contemporary romance novels). But this book is solid romance novel. I loved the heroine in this book. I felt that this book was a bit longer than it needed to be. The steamy scenes were great but perhaps less is more, it became redundant after a while. I always enjoy the epilogues. I really like the narrators for the audio version.

I read this book several times and apparently have never done a review. This book is absolutely precious. I love Julien and Bree. I love how they grew together and fell in love with each other. I feel for Bree everytime Julien hurts her and I want to scream at Julian for being a jerk! This book is a perfect book to dip your toes into steamier romance! Ahh. Sooooo good!
Pardon me, BUT FUCK THIS BOOK WAS HOT!!
I have been in a T.L. Swan reading rush in the past week and so far I have not been disappointed. Each book is so well thought out, each character well developed and interesting. Loved it.
We follow Brielle who has just arrived in the UK with her friend from Australia as an Au Pair, she thinks she is coming to work for a widowed woman only to find out at the airport that she is to work of a very hot, extremely hot (do I need to say how hot?) older man. She is introduced to his two friends, one is Willow a teenager, and Sammy who is younger. Sammy takes to her quickly but Willow doesn't. Anyways at night, she goes into the kitchen to get some water when she sees Mr. Masters masturbating to her picture. She begins to think that maybe he has the hots for her (which he most definitely does).
She gets involved in the lives of the children and even Willow begins to come out of her shell and depend on her. Her relationship with Julian was just precious, find out the baggage that he carries as a Judge and also a widower.
I am trying not to spoil the books, there are so many things that I enjoyed about this book, the way it talked about sexuality, consent, bullying, suicide, and more.
Recommend it

I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I was going to dnf this book until about 40% of the way through, but it really picks up after that. Willow and Sam were the book's superstar characters.
Okay, you will truly hate this hero at first, as is common for this author. Brielle was amazing. She's hot, sassy, and has a crazy sense of humor. I admired her concern for Julian and his family. The sex scenes in the book were quite hot, and there was also a good amount of angst.
The back and forth was tiresome, but I forgave it since they were two complicated and messy characters, much like reality.
Some of the things in the book made me cringe. The relationship between Bri and the children, on the other hand, was my favorite factor of the book for me, and it was wonderful how beautifully it grew and developed.

Cringey moments and the way stuff flowed but I was entertained and invested in how the HEA was going to happen despite all the potential issues.

4* max. It eludes me how the whole family accepted the way the FMC, who's there as the nanny, acted the whole time. It might be because of cultural differences, but I couldn't imagine someone like her acting the way she did in real life (this is aside from the promiscuous things that they were doing on the side). I liked the angsty part toward the end and I also kindly liked the fact that they were both willing to give up on the things that they originally wanted (willingness is my point here, although it is weird for me how they eventually ended up having soooo many children together lol).
I LOVED this book and the only reason it wasn’t a 5 star read for me was the predictability. Even the small twist I felt I saw coming. However, even with this is mind this book was the EXACT palette cleanser I needed coming off of throne of glass. Loved every second of it and oooooh was she spicy
