Should just be called Mr. Perfect

Whew! Mr. Masters is STEAMY! This read was so sweet and intense. What a beautiful story about blending a family, overcoming mental health and understanding toxic traits we all carry. Loved this story!

This book was a mess.
🚩I was looking forward to it since the FMC is an au pair. I have a couple of friends who are au pairs in Europe. I was also lucky to have found a potential family but due to personal reasons i was unable to😔
🚩The au pair aspect of this story was not only disappointing but the characters and plot as well.
Au pair✨
The author didn't do her research well on this.
🚩When you find a potential family as an aupair, it is a must you do a zoom call with them. So when Bree gets picked up by Mr Masters at the airport(who she thought was a woman) she gets confused. she doesn't have a clue what her employer even looks like? 😑 Like be serious??!
This would all have been avoided if they had a zoom call.
🚩Bree gets the children late to school on the first day. This doesn't make sense. Usually, the family gives the au pair 1week-1 month ( depends on the family) of rest period. So that the au pair can familiarize herself with the environment as well as her routine. And secondly, even if the au pairs arent given this period, they are given the children's schedule during that zoom meeting i mentioned & also the first day she arrives there.
-An aupair isnt a Nanny. It is a language exchange program. Get it right👏
🚩These are basic info u can find in the internet with just a click of the button🙄
BREE✨
-She curses & shouts at the kids she is supposed to look after😑, snoops at her boss' bedroom, flirts with him, seduces him when she is drunk. This happens on the first 3 days (au pair of the yr ladies &gentlemen🥳🥳) & don't forget she also lied to get this job🥰
-Bree insults her boss, calls the women he flirts with "sluts" & allows her boss to finger her infront of the children, i kid u not🥴 get a room u horny mfs🚮
🚩I could go on and on about her but that would be a waste my precious time.
Julian✨
-This guy does not give a shit about his kids. His only concern is sticking his dingdong to anyone who has a 😺
-A man who smashes things when he is angry is a 🚩flag.
-He is 38 but behaves like a toddler. His 5yo son is more mature than him🥴
🚩I dont believe they are in "love". They are going to divorce.
The plot✨
       (
Me looking for it)  🧐🔎

It's non-existent. It's sex after sex after sex after sex.
And the sex is mid btw.

🚩I tried my best not to dnf and read it to the last page. So, The one star is for me🤗

Not my favorite but not the worst. Kind of a predictable plot but I enjoyed the story line

4.5* I really really liked this one! I know there's a bunch of mixed opinions on this one but I really enjoyed it and flew through it too. I loved the relationship between Julian and Brielle, and how it progressed from just sex, to love when Julian has never been in love. It didn't feel like a full five stars but also didn't feel like just four stars. The banter, the meetings, the lead-up to the relationship, and the way that Bree loved the kids so much. I loved the representation with Willow towards the end, if you know you know. Julian was so hot and Brielle was the perfect balance for him. It was just a hot, funny, and sweet read overall:)
