I LOVED how the FMC advocated for the children. Even fighting and challenging the parents.
Spice on this book was really good. Really spicy. Plot and characters were kinda meh. I loved Julian with his friends I thought they were super funny together, but after times these characters felt fake. I’m not sure how to put it but it didn’t always feel the most realistic. Also the ending wrapped everything up in a nice little bow and I felt like skipped over some things I personally really wanted to know. Probably wouldn’t re read but it was good nonetheless
I absolutely loved this book. I read some reviews before I started this book that painted Julian Masters in a bad light. While he was a grumpy a hole, I still fell in love with him.
I loved the development of Julian and Brielle’s relationship and all of their rendezvous.
My favorite relationship in this book though has to be the one between Brielle and Willow. From their first meeting to the end, they were just great. Brielle came into Will’s life and completely changed it for the better.

2.5 stars rounded down for GR. Single father has the hots for his live-in nanny, but they can't find happiness together because he's vowed to never get married again. The beginning of this book was rough. Both main characters were really difficult to like. Brielle lied on her resume and bumbled her way through every encounter with Julian and his kids with completely unrealistic, over-the-top reactions that were packaged as "honesty." Then she "faked it til she make'd it" and suddenly everyone was falling over themselves for her. Julian acts more like a frat boy than a 39-year-old judge. Things slowly improve as Brielle chills out and she and Julian become intimate. The steamy scenes are good but repetitive. I liked the conflict with Willow, and it was heartbreaking to see how much of a hold Julian's dead wife had over him and he didn't even realize it until it was almost too late. But the good bits at the end couldn't overcome the stuff that irked me, particularly the formatting problems that made it hard to follow who was speaking.
AMAZING!!!!
I read the description of this book and decided to give it a chance. I’m so glad I did! I loved this story and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. It is an HEA that left no loose ends and I wasn’t even halfway finished before I decided to just download a few more books from this author. Read this book! I’m off to read Dr. Stanton!
