FANTASTIC!!!

I am obsessed with the Miles High Club brothers series and was excited to start the spinoff with Mr. Masters. My spinning wheel of what to read next did not disappoint with this book!

I loved Brielle and thought she was a breath of fresh air. She was funny, caring, energetic, and fiercely loyal and protective towards Willow and Sammy. I thought the drama was going to come from her being the new nanny and kids not accepting her, but she fit right in and got those kids to love her and vice versa. Julian Masters is the hot and broody judge who is cranky all the time. But those times when he’s not cranky and being open, hot damn. Age gap isn’t one of my favorite tropes, but it didn’t bother me that much in this book.

What got me and wasn’t my favorite, was that Julian and Brielle would keep having the same arguments over and over again without resolving anything. I get that they are in different stages of their lives (hence the age gap) but they wouldn’t even communicate what they needed until they started fighting which then made the situations worse. I just didn’t need to keep reading the same fight over and over again and I needed them both to grow up and take ownership of their actions.

Overall, I enjoyed this book and will be continue on with the series with Mr. Spencer next!

I don’t know that I’ve ever hated a male MMC so much…I need to collect my thoughts and revisit to write a review. I’m so disgusted with his character it makes finishing the book feel so unsatisfying.

I really did enjoy this story.
Single Dads are one of my go to reads.

The story flows well and there is just the right amount of couple turmoil.
The only thing that distracted me from the story is the inaccurate use of American sayings for a UK based book and small little details that were wrong.
