This was a perfect quick summer read. If you loved watching Desperate Housewives, you would like this! It is filled with all the same deep dark secrets, the threat of lives unraveling, and the wildest twists all set in a usually quiet neighborhood. I wish that the pacing was more consistent throughout the earlier parts of the book, but the ending is so worth hanging in to get to know these characters,

I love to read but lately I’ve not been finding anything that sucked me right in. When I got Never Have I Ever from the library, I expected another hit or miss. The first 50 or so pages were just that but once Angelica Roux’s true purpose in the storyline was revealed, this book had sunk its claws into me. I was hooked. I’m neither a mom or a suburb-dweller but this book got me thinking. The plot got even twistier as I got closer to the end; I was turning pages dying to know how the drama between Roux and Amy played out, and I absolutely was not disappointed.

enjoyed the audiobook. not sure if this is typical of all audiobooks, as I’m fairly new to them, but the narrators kid/teen/baby voices made me CRINGE.
