I thought this would be all fun and games until it took an increasingly dark turn. Not in a disturbing way, but not the fun lark I was anticipating.

Most interested layout and perspective I’ve seen in a graphic novel. I enjoyed all the little tidbits in the intros of the protagonists + the randos. A reminder that everyone has something going on.

The info dumps and exposition diagrams were really boring andade this book one heck of a slog. I couldn't do it.

The art is pretty but there's too much text - around 7 or 8 of just the first 40 pages are full of background info/worldbuilding instead of story. This type of telling not showing, especially in a visual medium, also leads to flat characterization.
