3.5. This book took me forever to read bc of college and not having a lot of time. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I read it faster. But I was still eager to read it so it was pretty good. I didn’t really expect the last turn but it was a good ending.

I love Nicholas Sparks as an author, but I hate it when the endings of his books are just so freaking sad without there being a really good point. This book to me just felt like being sad to be sad.
I will say I was impressed by Nicholas's ability to write about a pregnancy experience in such a detailed way. But teen pregnancy and teen love as the bulk of a story is just not something I find appealing in the books that I read.
