Such a wonderful story where the story, the characters, the descriptions have so much depth. It was a book I couldn’t put down.

“Loved saved me, and I know it’ll save you, too”

Classic Nicholas Sparks - it reminded me a lot of some of his earlier works, like The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. A little to heavy on detail in a few places but the story was lovely (if predictable) and the characters were developed fully.

Can’t wait for the movie.  Definitely pulls at your heart strings.  There were a couple times I thought “oh I know how this is going to end.” But I was wrong!  If a book makes me cry, it has totally sucked in my emotions and I have to rate it 4.5 or better.

I feel like 2.5 looks like i hated it but i didn't

You need some tissues for this one! Definitely my favorite Nicholas Sparks book

Mr. Sweet and Sappy does it again. I shed some tears, but did not sob like some of his others. Nice to see him go back to his roots a bit.

Slow and predictable with weak female protagonist. Ugh I have to stop reading his books.

To be honest I cried for the dog - other parts of the book I really didn’t care much about.
Also, it should be illegal to write “Braxton-Hicks” more than 3 times. We get it, you learned a new medical term. Chill.
