I adored this story! So much love and heartbreak. I am hopeful this becomes the next great Nicholas Sparks movie.

I read so many Nicholas Sparks books as a teen, when I saw this available as an audiobook I thought it would be a good listen. I have definitely outgrown my Sparks phase. While it wasn’t the worst, I kept waiting for something to happen, but it just dragged on. Also, I guessed “the twist” within the first 50 pages.

Ive read al Sparks’ books. And just read this for the streak. Thought i knew by now: boy meets girl, they fall in love, but this was a whole different story. And actually made me cry twice! Lovely book and definitely recommend.
