Read this book!
Read it if you've experienced conflict withit your family, friend circle, organization, or workplace.
Read it if you're stuck in believing that the best solution to a conflict is to "fix it".
Beth and Sarah outline the reasons that connections are the solutions and that conflict is inevitable.
The chapters on parenting, friendship, and community were the most relatable, but Chapter 7 contains the most important reminder in my opinion - Governing isn't politics, and politics isn't government.
This is a fresh take on acknowledging the political without letting it consume us wholly.

This book is a crucial resource to help navigate today's polarized world. Beth and Sarah, of the Pantsuit Politics podcast which started in 2015, thread together personal stories, concrete examples, and reflection questions into a helpful guide exploring relationships: how to keep them, how to mend them, and how to expand them. From partners and kids to your local community and the global human network, Beth and Sarah break down how to approach sensitive topics and keep an open mind. I cannot recommend this book (and their podcast!) highly enough!

These two authors make me feel hopeful.
I appreciate their voices of reason and levelheadedness even when I don’t agree on their positions.
I especially appreciated the chapters on talking to kids about politics as well as how we should stop viewing our communities as consumers but as contributors.
