I liked this so much better than I thought! The conflicts are so wonderfully nuanced. The mysteries are perfectly suspenseful - not immediately obvious, not out of left field. This kept me on my toes, got me thinking, I sympathized with both the protagonists and the antagonists... I honestly loved this, it was so well done. I can't wait to read the sequel.

It took me a while to get into this book. I stopped listening to it twice before I finally decided to push on through. But once I did get into it, it was really good. The world is very well crafted and I love the way the different descendants of the gods have different powers. The love story was well done and handled the moral complexity of the fate thread (and the fact that she could cut it) well. I figured out the mystery early on, but it was still a fun read. And I'm definitely looking forward to reading the sequel. It didn't end on a cliffhanger, but it definitely ended before I was ready for it to.

literally just ended...what the heck man no resolution. also plot/mystery was lowkey confusing. exposition took a while which is expected in fantasy. didn't really care that much about the characters tbh.

Descendants of Greek Gods loving among mortals. This book is about 3 sisters born with different gifts. The eldest sister Thais weaves threads, middle sister Ava draws threads, Lo the youngest cuts threads.
I really enjoyed the magic system and love learning more about Greek Mythology but I just couldn’t get into the book
I think it’s worth the read. Easy to follow and fast paced.
