Well worth listening to as an audiobook. Excellent writing. Approachable and digestible content. Thought provoking and moving.

I thought I would have a pretty good idea of the things being discussed in this book, but repeatedly, I found myself blown away with information both about the way I navigate the world and how people I love and teach and spend time with navigating the world. Sometimes, books by celebrities come off as a bit of fluff. This one isn't, and I'm HIGHLY recommending everyone who works with people read/listen to it.

Although well structured and informative I should have read it rather then listen to the audiobook. I found that the structure of the audiobook was kind of like having a discussion with both the authors present in the room with you. Personally I don't really enjoy those... Don't get me wrong, both did an amazing job and the information itself was very well presented, I just would have enjoyed it more in a physical format.

Oprah talking about trauma? I will always be here for it.
