I am pretty impressed with the book choices of Once Upon  Bookclub…this thriller was a tale well told.  Sometimes the police procedural stuff is just…wrong… and it annoys me, but here, everything felt believable.   Our hero did make some questionable choices, but they made sense in her mind, which we knew enough about to buy it.   A really well done thriller..deserves more attention.

A game of cat and mouse where each chapter increased the level of suspense.

I loved how this story was told from two very distinct perspectives- the main character and an unknown second- and ultimately how they collide in the best of ways.

This is definitely more of a crime novel than psychological thriller, but it was so good!
