there were a lot of moving parts in this book. so many characters that i just wish we could have seen more out of. i feel like she tried to get a backstory for everyone, but after a certain point they don’t feel fleshed out enough. don’t get me wrong i loved getting to see the secret thoughts and psyche of each character, but it seemed like too much with all of them. this book was good though i liked the themes explored and tuesday’s growth. although don’t go in expecting a ton of puzzles or clues. you shouldn’t let that turn you away from the book because it was still pretty good, but it doesn’t have problems the reader can solve with the characters.

This book was pure delight: an adult version of The Westing Game with tons of quirk and charm to spare.

I shouldn't be so hard on this book, as it wasn't bad, but because I typically read YA, I was left feeling like I needed...more of something.

Tuesday Mooney suffered the tragic loss of her best friend when she was a teenager. Tuesday is haunted by that loss and has failed to develop any close friendships since. However, when she inadvertently witnesses the death of a local eccentric billionaire and his plot to give away his wealth through a game, Tuesday forms an unlikely alliance.

Adult readers who enjoyed "The Westing Game" will enjoy this mystery. It was fun enough, but something was missing...
