One of the best books I've ever read, genuinely. Beautiful and complex, there was always something insightful on the page. It made me want to love my friends 100 times harder. The characters were strong, relatable, and the consequences of their actions were always fitting. It's not a book I would usually read, but I'm glad I broke out of my comfort zone and picked Tuesday Mooney up. A wonderful book I would recommend do anyone.

I was hoping this book was more focused on puzzles, mysteries and magical realism than it actually was. Towards the end it got a bit more mysterious, but most of the book was about personal and interpersonal relationships of the characters. I don't really understand why this book is labaled as magical realism because the aspects of that were very slim. The focus is more on mystery.
