Wasn’t my favorite Frieda McFadden book! It was a strange story in general and I didn’t love the ending. Didn’t feel like the characters got the justice they deserved.

This book was honestly not great. It was almost like a copyright of Misery, & the twists were lame. It was a lot of build up for a disappointing ending. I only gave it 3 stars because it was an easy read that I still couldn’t put down for some reason. I would’ve given it less if it weren’t for that.

Would have been a 3 star if not for the god awful nickname of Tuna for her unborn child. I hated that so much and it took me out every time she used it to refer to the baby, which was unfortunately quite often.
