There was one singular chapter on the titular topic, the rest was filler.  The filler was the author recounting various salacious patient stories with seemingly little relevance.

Also she passed a lot of judgement on people with addiction, as well as a sweeping judgement over most drug use (weed, antidepressants, etc).  Except for the weird passage that sounded like an advertisement for a few named drugs.
