sorry but i’ve never seen two characters who have so little in common apart from one thing opposites attract i get it but it was so random

My favorite romance of all time. Every time I reread this I can't put it down. It's about a woman whose childhood celebrity crush becomes one of her soccer coaches and then her best friend. It's not so much grumpy/sunshine as it is grumpy/partly-cloudy! I love that it’s all from the woman’s pov but the reader gets glimpses into the man’s thoughts through the things that he says to her

How many „poop” words said by almost 30/yo woman for book is too much?
emotional funny slow-paced

Currently, this book is my favorite Zapata book. I loved every aspect of this story from the plot to the character development to the relationship evolution. Zapata has a way with writing very realistic and relatable main characters that are so easy to become attached for. Additionally, she is a master at writing the enemies to friends to lovers trope and matching the plot and pacing up perfectly. Admittedly, Zapata's books are pretty chunky reads and I am always apprehensive when it comes to long romances because I usually find that they lull or go off plot but I did not encounter this issue at all and remained gripped the entire journey. The relationship between Sal and Kulti was everything I wanted in a romance and it culminated in the perfect amount of spice at the end. This book has sealed Zapata's position as an auto-buy author for me and it is very very possible that she will be one of my favorite authors as I continue reaching for her works. Highly recommend giving this book a try even if you aren't usually a fan of sports themed romances.

Loved it

im sorry but i don’t like kulti. he was so rude to other people that’s not connected to sal with NO explanarion except that “he’s not gonna change.” sal is such a nice person and definitely deserves someone better than him idc idc. also i know this is an unpopular opinion but their relationship went a bit too fast for me
