Interesting book but felt slightly overwhelmed with info towards the end, felt like a lot of new characters and people were suddenly introduced with a slightly unrealistic plot line. Nice easy read though and enjoyed the final chapter that added a bit more to the plot twist - I will definitely be reading Strange Pictures

Fast paced and mysteries were answered quite fast even though some were kinda forced and magical because most of what the "investigators" thought turned out to be true.

I really liked the idea of sloving the mystery through the floorplans, but the execution was a bit too rushed and far fetched for my taste. Even though I liked the Strange Houses' premise more than the Strange Pictures' from the same author, Picrures were executed better and made more believable. In Pictures a journalist is uncovering the mystery and connecting the dots with his own research , while in Houses he is just invited to tag along to listen about stranger's family's dark secrets being spilled. Though, the ending is not really conclusive, so there might be more to it.
