I definitely enjoyed this book. Mafia romance, a little dark but not super dark. (TW: abuse) There were a few parts of the story that seemed a bit rushed but it is a romance novel so that didn't surprise me. Still 4 stars, hits the "I'll un-alive him"/keep her safe vibe.

I’ve been looking forward to Liam’s story ever since wrapping up Taken by a Sinner. And to think I’ve got three more mob boss stories to go - yes, please!
I love an Irish MMC - and a mafia Irish mob boss at that? Sign me up. Kiara works for Byrne Enterprises much to the concern of her parents, although she can’t understand why. When she’s harassed at work she doesn’t know who to turn to until Liam Byrne, the CEO, comes to her rescue.
She doesn’t know his ties to the Irish mob and little does she know the ties that bind her to the organization as well.
I loved Liam. He was alpha but a total sweetheart to Kiara. Something was pulling him towards her which was odd considering he made sure to keep his distance from all but a select few. He also had OCD tendencies which disappeared in her presence. He was overprotective and a big ol’ romantic. Also, he looks like Charlie Hunnam .. enough said!
The storyline was engaging and well written. Looking forward to the next in the series.
