Ok so this was interesting and funny but I couldn't get into it not sure if I'll carry on with the series

I think an incel wrote this.

I didn't review this book after I read it, and I'm kinda glad. Don't get me wrong, it's a great story and I laughed quite a bit, but now that I'm about to start book 5 I can see how the books tie together and the plot is bigger than just the guy humor involved. I have really fallen in love with the series and each book I get through just makes me want to read them all faster!

I really love this book, thought I recommend it in audio format. It just doesn’t read as well, it needs voice for the jokes to play out correctly. But when they do, they are hilarious. Past that, the plot needs work and dialogue gets boring.

2.5 stars, rounded up for the story.

There were too many unfunny, snarky asides for me - I could have done without at least 20 of the parenthesised comments.

I liked Bill's room mates more than I liked Bill. Bill's a bit of a jerk.

I don't know if I like this series enough to continue onto the second book. We'll see.

I wanted to like it, but the main character is such a stereotypical Nice Guy (tm), that I couldn't stand him.

Tongue in cheek book about a geeky guy who becomes a vampire accidentally (instead of ending up dead). There are a bunch of cool, hot vampires that make up a coven. They have to bring a geeky date to a party, and they are killed and drained of blood. Bill tries to escape, and an older powerful vampire takes a liking to him, and saves his life. It goes on from there, but isn't that great. I got it free, but I won't be paying for the next books in the series.
