A fun collection of articles by a physicist that has spent his life thinking and reading engaged with the world. There are aspects which cover philosophy, neuroscience, politics, science communication among others. The ideas are refreshing even if a little short and simple at times.

I wish this had beem the first book i read by Carlo Rovelli as it would fill out much of what is missing in some of his other books.

I really enjoy getting lost in Rovelli’s essays and writings. It makes me think and for my
Nonfiction science reads, this is exactly what I want from these books. Thank you.

In particular I liked the Baby Jesus, uncertainty is not the enemy, sands, de rurum, stupefying and Are we free.

I think I'm finally starting to enjoy non-fiction. With that said, I enjoyed this book a lot. When I first received this in the mail, I wasn't expecting to like it. I thought it would be like any other non-fiction but I was amazed at how much I liked it. I finished this in 3 days, I couldn't put it down lol. Even though the book consists of articles that were published by the author, the book was structured in a way that even article relates to one another. Philosophy and physics are 2 concepts I never thought I would enjoy so much but I loved learning new things. Thank you @riverhead for sending me this book!
