This book was a lot to take in. I did enjoy the book, it did hold my attention from the beginning. However, I felt like there were a lot of questions that weren’t answered, were skipped over or were just unclear.
I liked the FMC, she has her trauma, but she also doesn’t let anyone walk all over her. The MMC is not for me. I am all for possessive alpha men, but the way he goes about it, it’s a no for me.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in book two, so that I’m able to get a better idea of how the FMC and MMC are going move forward.
Especially after that cliffhanger and sneak peek at book two!!

This was an almost DNF. Thought it might lead somewhere and surprise me int he final few chapters to look forward to the next book but alas, this was a disappointment.
This was a 26 chapter-short book. Would usually be able to finish a book this length in a third of the day but this book took me almost a week to finish.
The writing was subpar and comparable to terribly written wattpad-esque style.
The lack of consent in the smut scenes were an ick too.
Would give this a miss if you haven't read it yet. Will not be reading the next installment.
