One of my favorite childhood books. That and pretty much anything else by Madeleine L'Engle. But I re-read this one my sophomore year of college and still loved it.

This book is a great example of classic science fiction. Wonderful choice for a re-read.

This was my third (maybe fourth?) time reading this.

Read aloud to the kiddo this time. We LOVED it. She wants to dress as Meg for the “Dress as a book character” day at school (which isn’t until the spring).

She was just about yelling and cheering in the last few pages and I think I even spotted a tear!

This book is overflowing with Big Concepts, realistic characters and unique vocabulary. On this read, I even learned a new word: bilious (affected by nausea).

Kiddo gives it: 10/10 dimensions; 10/10 tesseracts.

Another "children's fiction" I thought i was too old for (I'm only 20, how ridiculous is that??!!). Awesome, i really enjoyed it. I really identified with Meg's character.
