A wonderful book of spiritual realism mixed with some fun science fiction. The story follows Meg, Calvin and Charles Wallace as they try to recover Meg’s father from Camatzotz, a planet given over to the darkness of IT.

I read this book in 3rd grade. I didn't remember any of the story but it was still very magical. I loved it!
It’s entirely possible to bring in the notion of good and love without bring in religion. It tainted the book a little for me.
