How hard could it be to do research on actual Swedish names and conditions? Moose/elk is two different animals. And Eli is a womans name in Scandinavia. She didnt even look up the times it takes to drive trough Sweden. And on summer tires no less. She would be off the road long before Lappland.

Like Riven's reaction in this book is not great. However, knowing his past, you can get why it's his first instinct.
